I worked at BBC Radio Manchester in Jan-April 2010, developing features for Heather Stott and working on news for Beswick at Breakfast. I was in charge of coordinating coverage of the 20th anniversary of the Strangeways riot - my scoop was persuading Lord Woolf to talk exclusively to Radio Manchester about the inquiry he led and the reforms he had proposed to the prison system.
My book Epilepsy: the Essential Guide was published on 1 May 2009.
